  • Luxuary swiss watchmaker Hublot has created a $25,000 blockchain watch (named, Big Bang Meca-10 P2P), that can only be purchased using Bitcoin

  • The 210-piece limited edition watch has been made to commemorate the 10th anniversary of Bitcoin, and the number also represents the fact that only 21 million bitcoins will ever exist

  • Hublot explained that ”Blockchain is a revolution in the financial system and the future of e-commerce, and it has been broadly used as a digitised and decentralised public ledger of all digital currency transactions since its creation. By allowing digital information to be distributed, Blockchain technology creates the backbone of a new type of Internet. Well-recognised for its originality, the technology is regarded as one of the most powerful and fastest-growing trading tools, not to mention unlimited possibility of usage in different aspects that will revolutionise various industry norms and trade”

  • You can register for the watch on Hublot’s dedicated page, which is now oversubscribed according to the website

  • The new Hublot watch will be delivered to customers starting from January 2019.
