Du To Build Blockchain Platform As-A-Service In The UAE

  • Du, the telecoms provider in the UAE, is to build the first Blockchain Platform as a Service in UAE (BPaaS) in partnership with ConsenSys (a New York based blockchain software technology company)

 

  • As reported in TahawulTech, the BPaaS infrastructure will be built on the Ethereum blockchain

 

  • BPaaS is Du’s initiative to support the UAE blockchain strategy that was launched by Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai earlier this year

 

  • “In conjunction with ConsenSys, Du will play a leading role in leveraging emerging technology to contribute to business growth and the realisation of the Dubai Blockchain Strategy.
